Seventh Year in a Row!!! “Best Gourmet Restaurant”, seventh year in a row is awarded to Rosemary’s Restaurant by the “25th Annual Las Vegas Review Journal’s 2006 Best of Las Vegas Awards”.

 

It is official!!!! In conjunction with the great “ZAGAT” rating for 2005. Rosemary’s Restaurant is officially listed # 1 in these “ZAGAT” categories: Top Food, Las Vegas & Top Business Dining, Las Vegas.

 

Rosemary’s Gift Certificates at Costco!! Beginning this month, Costco will sell Rosemary’s Restaurant gift certificates at three local area stores. Proud to be the only Las Vegas restaurant chosen for the new Costco program. Offering gift certificates through wholesale warehouse gives Rosemary’s the opportunity to reach 10,000 plus consumers a day and a significant discount for those who take advantage of this amazing deal!!! The first weekend the program was offered to the faithful public was more than amazing it was over the top and above the line!!!

 

Rosemary’s Catering – New Facility Expands Catering Potential – Rosemary’s recently acquired a new facility dedicated specifically to catering! This new location not only provides us with a kitchen dedicated only to catered event preparation, it gives us the ability to take on more catered events and diversify our services for on and off- site catering.

Chefs Michael & Wendy Jordan opened their first restaurant with the blessing of there mentors. Michael & Wendy have and never will forget those who believed in their talents. To this day they spend time with their mentors who assisted in helping the Jordan’s make a dream come true.

Trip Advisor/On line restaurant listings. Rosemary’s Restaurant is rated #1 in Las Vegas out of 686 restaurants. Kudos’ are chanted in the form of “amazing, extraordinary and wonderful”. Eventually everyone comes to Rosemary’s.

 

Rosemary’s Restaurant Presents “Room with a View” Artist Exhibition and Reception in Honor of Vegas Centennial. “Desert Sites” will be displayed in the West Wing of Rosemary’s Restaurant through February, 2006. Rosemary’s will be featuring the work of Dennis Angel, Catherine Borg, Mark Brandvik, Sam Warner & Suzanne Hacket-Morgan.
 

2005

Rosemary’s Restaurant receives the prestigious DiRoNa Award (Distinguished Restaurants of North America). Rosemary’s will be listed among the 800 restaurants currently listed in the Guide to Distinguished Restaurants in North America.

 

Newsweek Magazine picks top restaurants in Las Vegas. Nobu receives food rating of 28, Twin-chef Jordan families’ Rosemary’s and Picasso’s receive a 27.

 

Newsweek - Las Vegas Review Journal Food Writer, Heidi Knapp-Rinella   Rosemary’s Restaurant receives an “A” rating. Rosemary’s Restaurant has prospered in the “burbs” thanks to of Chefs Michael & Wendy Jordan’s’ creativity of the restaurant’s American regional menu and quality of food.

 

Rosemary’s Restaurant receives Excellent Ratings from 2005 Zagat Restaurant Guide. Restaurant receives “28” for food and “26” for service. 

 

Sante’ Food & Wine - Chefs Michael & Wendy Jordan receive Sante’ 2005 Grand Award for Restaurant of the Year & the Culinary Hospitality & Cuisine Award. Way to go Rosemary’s!!!!!!

 

Chef Michael Jordan is featured Celebrity Chef on the Food Network with Rachael Ray in this weeks “Tasty Travels”. Rosemary’s continues to be ranked among the top restaurants in Las Vegas.

 

Las Vegas blossomed into a dining destination to rival New York, Definitely worth the cab ride to Rosemary’s!  Chefs Michael Jordan and his wife Wendy’s “Wonderful” French-influenced New American Cuisine is one of those “Musts”.

Summerlin View - Couple cooks up success in business & family. Restaurateurs keep sight on domestic priorities. Chef Wendy said the biggest change was how her schedule changed. These days, I’m asleep when Michael gets home. But whereas Wendy Jordan used to say the best part of her day was the morning, she now says it’s late at night. “I’m always listening for the garage door to go up.”

 

 “Chef Talk” Radio Hits the Airwaves. Hosted by nationally acclaimed Chefs Michael & Wendy Jordan of Rosemary’s Restaurant. “Chef Talk”, (KNEWS 970 AM) broadcasts live every Saturday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

“Best of Las Vegas 2004 Las Vegas Review-Journal” – The Reader’s Pick for the Best Gourmet Restaurant in Las Vegas for the 6th year in a row.

 

Chefs Michael & Wendy Jordan and there restaurant Rosemary’s are chosen by Chef Tim Love and his Fort Worth, Texas restaurant, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro to be part of his “6 Chefs, 6 Horses, 5 States, 342 Ingredients and 2454 Miles in 6 Days! The team raised money for “Spoons Across America” and “The James Beard Foundation”.

 

James Beard Awards validate fine Las Vegas cuisine.  “Our trips to the Beard House have and always will be one of the highlights of our lives as Chefs. We have been invited to the Beard House five years in a row and each time we are thrilled to be there and to see so many of those guests who have become friends and visit us not only in New York but dine with us in Vegas.

 

Sunday ACCENT/Vegas Beat – Timothy McDarrah; Robert Siegal, the host of National Public Radio, “All things Considered,” made a surprise visit to Rosemary’s Restaurant so that Chefs Mike & Wendy Jordan could do there thing and some special request from Robert.

 

Rosemary’s celebrates it’s “5th ANNIVERSARY”. It’s been a long haul and one that husband & wife chef team, Michael & Wendy Jordan have seen their vision come true. They are grateful and so appreciative to all the support they have received from others who also believed in their dream.

 

Rosemary’s braces for Valentines Day. Chefs Michael & Wendy Jordan brace for the Lover’s Holiday. Chef Wendy said that our restaurant is not only an International Destination Restaurant it is a Special Occasion Restaurant. As usual the lines to sample the delights created by chefs were long but worth waiting for. Rosemary’s and the Jordan chefs have been featured chefs at this event for the last 5 years. Las Vegas Prospective 2004 – The Workforce of Growth. Rosemary’s continues to lend there support and time to the growth of Las Vegas and its workforce. Chefs believe that knowledge is empowering and the growth of our own “City of Lights” will benefit everyone that is a part of life in the city.

 

Rosemary’s Restaurant will feature the wines of Sirita & Terry Theise. The six course dinner with wine pairing for each course has been requested by Las Vegan’s multiple times and is always sold out.

 

“Kids don’t have to get fancy to make Mom a special treat.”  Wendy Jordan, chef-owner with her husband Michael is very busy this time of year. They suggest pancakes formed in the shape of a heart. Chef Wendy said, “If I could have it my way I would want mini-muffins, fresh strawberries and a good pot of coffee. That would be something that would mean a ton.”
