Art Wendy Kveck Paintings in the Main Dining Room Wendy Kveck received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the University of Iowa in 1992. For the past seven years she’s been living in Las Vegas where she is actively involved in supporting the local art community through volunteer work with The Contemporary Arts Collective, arts education, and through exhibiting her own work at various venues throughout the city. In 2003, she was awarded a Jackpot Grant, funded by the Nevada Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts, to pursue her figurative series “Body of Work”, which examined women and body image in relation to the media and art history. Ms. Kveck is currently working towards her Master’s of Fine Arts degree at UNLV. Wendy Kveck is pleased to have had the opportunity to exhibit her artwork at Rosemary’s since its opening in 1999.
