Bistro Le Montrachet

An elegant dining experience awaits those who appreciate the details of fine dining in a rich European decor, service by impressively attentive wait staff, and the finest of Continental cuisine with a French flair, expertly prepared and presented at Bistro Le Montrachet in the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

Every aspect of this Mobil 4-Star Award winning restaurant is outstanding and meets all expectations of what fine dining should be.  Consistency in quality, preparation, and presentation are among reasons Bistro Le Montrachet has received this coveted award for the past three consecutive years.

Upon entering, the glass enclosed wine display (temperature controlled) is impressive adjacent to the polished mahogany floored cocktail lounge appointed with lighted paintings and equally attractive accents.

A most gracious Maitre d' will escort you around, or through, a central dining section with a massive floral display on a marble table under a large crystal  chandelier, and surrounded with massive rich polished columns. Seating around this intimate circular dining room is around the perimeter separated from the central section with the massive columns and is beautifully appointed with soft lit lamps between every booth, and paintings behind each booth.

Several visits may be required to savor delectable appetizers as:  Fresh Prime Caspian Beluga Caviar; Steamed Little Neck Clams a' la Nage; Burgundy Escargot; or Cold Bistro Seafood Spectacular.  Our favorite, the "Signature" Seared Sonoma Foie Gras of Duck, Medium Rare, Served Atop Spinach Mashed Potatoes, with Pine Nuts and Mushroom in Madeira Wine Sauce, a delicately flavorful beginning to our dinner. A chilled Fresh Sonoma Foie Gras of Duck Confit (cooked in it's own juice before chilling) is also available.

An excellent choice for salad: Maria's Garden Duck Salad, Warm Duck Atop a Bed of Fresh Spinach with Sliced Mango, Tomato, Topped with Bermuda Onions, Fresh Raspberries and Warm Raspberry Dressing compliments the appetizer while enhancing and activating the taste buds for the next course.

Selecting an Entree from offering as Veal, Lamb, Duck, Turbot, Salmon, Ahi Tuna, and Lobster, all with tantalizing accompaniments and sauces tempted us, we chose two of the Chef's Signature items: Broiled Imported Fresh Dover Sole Topped with Butter Fried Bananas and Nut Brown Lemon Butter - a pleasant combination to flavor the sole.

The Medallions of New Zealand Cervana Venison Farm Raised and Breaded in a Blackened Mushroom with Tart Cherry Sauce. The unique mushroom process encompasses three days of pulverizing the mushrooms to a fine consistency, oven baked with port wine reduction, air dried creating a flavorful crust to the venison which is light in flavor, texture, and color, unlike the 'gamey' venison.

The wine list offers all selections, vintages, labels, and appellations or origins at varying prices that begin at $30.00 and up per bottle. For a complete dinner including appetizer, salad or soup, entree, and dessert, expect to pay $75.00 and up per person, excluding tax, tip, and wine. Whether a gourmet, epicuren, or one looking for that special and elegant dining experience Bistro Le Montrachet should be visited.

Bistro Le Montrachet is closed Thursday through Monday, 6:00 PM - 10:30pm. For reservations please call (702) 732-5111.
